Gulf Coast (Oct. 26, 2005) – Electronics Technician 1st Class Matthew Ammons, a diver assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit Two (MDSU-2), is fitted with a Kirby Morgan 37 Dive Helmet, one of the NavyÕs newest dive helmets which is resistant to contaminated underwater environments. MDSU-2 is currently working in the Gulf Coast area as part of Hurricane Katrina search and relief efforts.
